Breakthroughs · 2 this month

The science that actually matters. Filtered, every six hours.

Real RCTs. Real FDA actions. Real guideline shifts. We skip the hype tweets and animal-only papers — what you see here matters for real human health, today.

What counts as a breakthrough here. Peer-reviewed, replicable, and clinically meaningful. We filter for effect sizes that matter at the individual level — hazard ratios below 0.85, mean differences large enough to change practice, or regulatory actions (FDA approval, EMA decision, society guideline update). Animal data, single-arm pilots, and conference abstracts without full papers stay in the queue until something replicates.

A six-hour update cadence. Our breakthrough agent scans PubMed, FDA and EMA newsroom feeds, NEJM, The Lancet, JAMA, Nature, Cell, and curated science-Twitter accounts every six hours. Each candidate is graded on source quality, effect size, and population fit before publication. Most signal is noise; the filter exists so you read the few items that matter.

Topics we cover. Longevity (senolytics, rapalogs, epigenetic clocks). Cancer (immuno- oncology, early-detection assays, screening guidelines). Peptides (new compounds, dosing trials, regulatory actions). Hormones (TRT evidence, GLP-1 expansion, thyroid). Neuroscience (Alzheimer's therapeutics, sleep, cognition). Metabolic (lipid lowering, insulin resistance, gut-brain axis).

News, not medical advice. Each card summarizes a finding and links to the primary source. We hedge effect sizes, flag conflicts of interest, and note when something is preliminary. Reading a breakthrough doesn't mean acting on it — most findings need years of replication before they change individual protocols. Use the feed to stay informed, not to self-prescribe.
