Peptides for men, decoded — mechanism first, marketing last.
Forty-plus compounds across recovery, growth hormone, weight loss, cognition, longevity, and sleep. Every entry evidence-graded against current research. No hype, no clinic kickbacks.
Peptides are signaling molecules, not anabolics. Short chains of amino acids (typically 2–50) that bind receptors and trigger specific cellular responses — tissue repair, GH release, appetite suppression, neuroprotection. They are not steroids, not SARMs, and not a shortcut. Most work by nudging biology that's already there, which is why dose, timing, and pulsatility matter more than total milligrams.
The regulatory landscape is messy. A handful are FDA-approved (semaglutide, tirzepatide, tesamorelin). Many are compounded under 503A/503B pharmacy rules — legitimate but physician-supervised. The rest sit in a research-use-only gray market with no purity guarantees. We flag each entry by status: prescribable, compounded, or research-only.
Read the evidence honestly. A rat study is not a human study. A 12-week trial in 24 subjects is hypothesis-generating, not proof. We grade by trial design (RCT > cohort > case series > animal), population fit (was it studied in healthy men your age?), and effect size. “Promising” and “proven” are not the same word.
Think in four categories. Healing (BPC-157, TB-500, GHK-Cu) for connective tissue and gut. Performance (sermorelin, ipamorelin, CJC-1295) for GH-axis support. Cognition (Semax, Selank, Cerebrolysin) for focus and neuroprotection. Body composition (semaglutide, tirzepatide, AOD-9604, 5-Amino-1MQ) for metabolic and weight goals. Pick the category that maps to your problem.
